Default Sound Card Picker

Easily lets you select the default sound device from multiple sound cards.

Download the beta version 1.0.1 (1MB) Windows MSI Installation File  (right-click and select "save-as" or "save-locally", then double-click the locally saved file to install)

How it works:  When it load for the first time, it will select up to the 1st 4 sound drivers in the 4 drop downs (the system shown above only has 1 sound card).  If you drop down the selector and select another device and click the button to set it as the default, the next time you load the app, that device is automatically set in that drop down.  This allows you to select the 4 devices that you want to switch between. You can also select (under Options) to have the app automatically exit when the button is clicked.

Requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP (it'll probably run on 98 and maybe even 95).   Note: This installation requires Windows Installer.  Windows installer is automatically installed if you have Windows 2000 or XP.  Its installed on 98 / ME if you've installed MS Office, etc.   If you need to download Windows Installer follow these links... * To Download Windows Installer v2.0 for 95/98/Me from Microsoft (click here) * To Download Windows Installer v2.0 for NT4_SP6 or W2000 from Microsoft (click here)
